Atinuke began her career in 2004, working in various international roles in the oil and gas industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and a Master of Science degree in Sustainable Energy Development (SEDV) from the University of Calgary. Atinuke holds the conviction that sustainable development, if done right, can be a means of promoting independence for women in developing countries. She is a 2nd-year Ph.D. Environmental Design student whose proposed thesis will focus on indigenous African waste management practices & solutions.
