Project Description
A scenario of ocean futures, this is a collective experience to remind us of the importance of oceans as climate regulators. It is a combination of sound and immersive experience which melds visualizations of local extreme weather events in various locations across the planet based on changing ocean warming patterns with interview recordings of people from these four locations. The experience connects the present to the future, connects the tropical Pacific Ocean to remote regions of the world, and connects species and human communities impacted by rising extreme weather events. It is an activator to create a better future and trigger discussion on coping responses to ocean warming.
