Claus Schöning Lam Yong has studied biochemistry (Free-University Berlin) and fine arts (Academy of Fine Arts Dresden, class of Susan Philipsz). He is investigating the production of knowledge and power through scientific and artistic representations. While primarily working with sound and moving images, he understands his works to be peotic interventions on ambiguous sites of western history.
