Ricardo Ruales Eguiguren is an Ecuadorian filmmaker, he has directed the short documentary "The Silence of Time" (2016) which has participated in film festivals in the USA, Malta and Italy, and “The Tern’s Crossing” (2022) projected at film festivals in Brazil and Spain. He holds a Masters degree in Film Creation at Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola film school (San Sebastian, Spain). His first documentary feature “The Broken R” has been supported by Ibermedia development and coproduction funds, also by Sundance Institute and IDFA Bertha Fund.
