About me
A French-Israeli director and podcaster born in Munich. Sharon spent her first 14 years in Munich, before moving to Jerusalem.
In 2001 she moved to Paris to study acting. In New York she studied under director Mike Nichols. She is a graduate of the production program in NYFA. She directed and produced her debut feature length documentary 'Recognition' in 2015.
Sharon is a graduate of the prestigious MA Documentary Film Directing at the Filmuniversity Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. She has directed three short films and her feature documentary 'Displaced', produced by Tondowski Films. 'Displaced' had its world premiere at DOK.fest 2020 in Munich. It was nominated for the First Steps award and is still screened in universities and museums around the world.
Her new documentary 'Love till 120' was supported by the MOIN Film Fund and will be released in 2024. She recently pitched at the Melbourne International Film Festival. 'Forbidden Dance' received development funding from the FFA.
