Information
Rosenpictures was founded in 2007 as a collective of filmmakers and video artists. In 2015 the network turned into a film production company which is based in Halle/Saale, Germany. Under the executive management of Ray Peter Maletzki and Stephan Helmut Beier, the company currently has four permanent employees. Their passion is to produce author driven documentary films often at the border to visual art. Thus Rosenpictures have a steadily growing number of films in their portfolio that successfully address an audience that is committed to the political and social, but also to the aesthetic and formal experiments of contemporary cinema.
